Tom Purvis has over 40 years of practical experience as both a Physical Therapist and Personal Trainer with over 51,000 contact hours assisting individuals that span the entire Functional Continuum, from incapacitated to professional athlete. He has been formally educating exercise professionals nationally and internationally since 1989, earning him the title Trainer to the Trainers®. Tom has consulted on the design and manufacture of exercise equipment for industry leaders such as Cybex, Nautilus, and Bowflex. He also has over 30 years of television experience as a talk show guest, show host, and 14 years as the host of Bowflex infomercials worldwide.
J. Calvin Johnson has over 31 years of practice performing 21,789 surgeries with the last 25 years primarily focused on knees and shoulders including ACL reconstruction of the knee including anterolateral reconstruction, Rotator cuff repair, Glenohumeral labral repair, On-call trauma surgery.
Steve has been featured on NBA Inside Stuff, All-Access with Ahmad Rashad, NBATV and The Eating Network. He also has his own workout segment on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment network and has been featured on all Denver major news channels as well as the Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News and the Wall Street Journal.
In addition to decades of hands-on practical experience with clients spanning the entire Functional Continuum, Charlie McMillin is currently heavily involved in formal research in the area of selection and management of machine-based resistance training dosages for patients with chronic disease. This includes developing and validating ratings of perceived exertion, qualitative and quantitative machine analysis, and qualitative symptom management.
Michael Bridges is formerly an F/A-18D Weapon Systems Officer in the Marine Corps for nine years and was a Human Performance & Wellness Coordinator for a Special Operations unit for ten years. He has served as a strength coach to both collegiate and professional athletes in hockey, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, golf, and tennis.

Scott Kneller Began his career working for Athletes’ Performance in Tempe, AZ providing physical therapy services to a wide range of people. Scott has decades of experience throughout the continuum of care including inpatient rehab, acute care, and outpatient orthopedics. He was formerly a physical therapist for the NFL and U.S. Army Special Forces.
